Climate

The Edna Valley is located approximately five miles east from the Pacific Ocean, which makes this area a cool to moderately cool growing region. Climatically ranging between Region I and Region II, fog is usually present until the late morning during the Spring and Summer months. The cool onshore winds in the afternoon create a very long ideal growing season. We typically receive around 2,300 to 2,700 growing degree days, with an average annual rainfall of 24 inches.
